Colorado Can Cup Pics

We had an amazing turnout & effort from everyone who made their way to Planet Bluegrass for the first ever Colorado Can Cup Bike Polo Tournament this past weekend in Lyons,CO. 14 teams, including one from Sale Lake City, UT & another from Casper, WY signed up & grabbed mallets on a day that provided a variety of twists & turns from warm sunshine to near white-out conditions. Thanks to everyone who came out & made this one bad-a** first edition of something special that has all the ingredients to get bigger & better.Passion Productions & Durango Mallethead Chad Cheaney keeping the Can Cup organized.

A few fronts came & went throughout the day...one of them created near whiteout conditions, and...
created some slick playing surgaces. Nobody was injured but we did have a few hit the deck.

Troy Mandery topping out the first climb with the Devil's Backbone in the background.
One by One, by Six. Chris tops out the same climb. We had a group of six on the day, all of them 1x1.
After ripping the Blue Sky Trail, we continued on to Lory State Park to play.
Dale thinking he should start doing Yoga.
Scott making his way out of the Blues Sky Trail.
Getting later in the day, Dale guts it out on the Spot Brand belt drive.
A great day on the bike and a grand reason for celebration, thanks for the times guys.

After the ride we headed to Oskar Blues in Lyons for a bite to eat & a few beers. Upon arrival we spotted a sweet Black Sheep in the parking lot, I mean SWEET. No detail was overlooked on this baby...check it out.
Notice the carbon fiber glued in below the top tube & head tube. This baby is dialed to the last detail.
These bars take the cake, nice work James.
