Lyons Outdoor Games - June 10 to 12th

Originally known as the Lyons Whitewater Festival, the Lyons Outdoor Games, was created 10‐years ago as a fund-raising vehicle for the Lyons Department of Parks, Recreation & Cultural Events. The event has evolved from an excuse for paddling buddies from around the country to come together for a day of play in the famed Lyons Whitewater Park, into a world‐class celebration of mountain sports. In addition to a full compliment of kayaking, biking, fly fishing, chainsaw carving and even dog events, the 2011 Games will feature numerous clinics and exhibitions put on by some of the world’s most elite professional athletes. Look for these as well as several exciting new events that are in the works for 2011. With such a myriad of activities, the 2011 Lyons Outdoor Games promises to be our best event yet!

REEB #1

As the Belt Busta's and OB REEB Machine were locked and loaded there was ONE final stop to make before we hit the road for Fruita 18 hours.
We met Taylor and #1 rolled in.....we loaded 'er up and headed for the desert.

The tapered head tube = stiff and good lookin' front end.
The Gates CDS drivetrain gives 'er that craft beer in a can awkward swagger.
Troy enjoy a G'Knight while erecting his tent under the glow of REEB #1.
Upon landing we wasted no time before heading out and hitting the pre-ride lap.

The birthday brew and views were enjoyed on a great calm before the storm.

Dirt Rag Magazine Dirtfest....Here comes OB

DirtFest Decoded
Our motivation for this event is to promote the mountain bicycling community. As mountain bikers we each have unique and various definitions which create cliques, groups, classes, and styles. While we appreciate the intricacies that spawn from the esoteric nature of our sport, there are certain binding ties that we feel cause to celebrate. For the weekend we aim to promote an environment of inclusion not based around ability or insanity, but rather hearty spirit for adventure, festivity, and camaraderie.

Spot Brand Bikes Dropout

Sleek, effective, refined. A sneak peak behind the curtain at SPOT BRAND BIKES gave glimpse of things to come. A few changes since THIS BEAUTY came out. Spot soread out the forces on the bolt fasteners and also included front & back directional fine-tune adjustments that you may or maynot need. The CDS system really excels when it is dialed in so the added adjustability invites you to ensure it is D I A L E D.
