OB Girls Kick Ass

All the ladies associated with Oskar Blues are throwing down some great events to get people on bikes & socializing over great beer.


Calling all ladies who like a good brew! April 22nd at the The Tasty Weasel Taproom will be the 2nd of the monthly gatherings.

Join a group of ladies for an opportunity to sample fine brews, learn the craft and enjoy a social night with your girlfriends. Check out this inaugural tasting and beer 101 chat starting at 6 p.m. at the Tasty Weasel in Longmont in what is sure to be a monthly OB event. Oskar Blues will have a wide variety of brews to sample and snack to nibble on. Try the new GUBNA or stick to MAMA’S LITTLE YELLA PILS and DALES PALE ALE.



The women at Skirt Sports are putting on their national series of SkirtChaser 5K events. Find OB beer at all of their events nationally.

Skirt Sports, leader in the running skirt world, believes fitness should be fun. With the Skirt Chaser 5k Race Series, we're putting a new spin on a running classic by mixing racing, flirting and entertainment in an innovative social fitness event. Women get a three minute head start and invite the men to "Catch Us If You Can."

The Race
The event kicks off with the race itself. Just over 3 miles of anticipation of being caught (for the gals) and the trill of trying to catch (for the guys). The first person to cross the line, male or female, takes home $500! We call it the Battle of the Sexes - and so far the women are kicking butt!

The Block Party
The Block Party features live entertainment and a happy hour atmosphere with food and Oskar Blues Brews. You won't want to miss our fashion show, "all the way down to the skivvies." It features the latest Skirt Sports products and is emceed by the one and only, Nicole DeBoom. Awards will follow.


Speaking of Girls Kick Ass, Outdoor Divas are also out and about getting ladies outdoors & motivated to kick ass. Keep an eye on some of the bike & outdoor specific events they have going throughout the season....you just might find some Oskar Blues beers fueling these ladies as well the groups they are partnered with. BMA Girls Mountain Bike Rides
The BMA Girls Mountain Bike Rides are weekly women-only rides in the Boulder area. They are about more than just riding. They are about fun, post-ride drinks, and the camaraderie that comes with seeing yourself progress over time. We ride every Thursday. The rides are free and no-drop: you will not be left behind to find your way home alone! Please don't be shy about coming out. All of us love mountain biking and would like to hang out with women that are interested in biking.
