Q&A with Chris Conroy: Mountain States Cup = "Grass-Roots"
VeloNews recently interviewed Yeti's Chris Conroy at the Chile Challenge MSC race this past weekend. Click here to see what he had to say.
Chile Challenge
The 4-CROSS course @ Angel Fire was big & smooth. The tree location off this double did take a few prisoners. The double slung picture "Click Here" was KO'd & so was the smooth young cat below from Longmont, CO. Luckily both were well enough to pose for the camera after.
The final Straight still offered some air time. This is what happens when you come up short on the first double. It snapped the headtube of that Trek, better the ride than the rider.

Oskar Blues/Dales Pale Ale went on to 2nd & 10th in the Single Speed Cross Country.

Lyons Fat Tire Fest grew again on Memorial Day weekend 2007. 40+ people rode the Saturday epic & followed it up with Dales Pale Ale & good eats. Check out the Redstone Cyclery Underground & here for fest pictures & updates.
Mountain States Cup race #2 @ beautiful Angel Fire, NM left us with fantastic views & great racing. The gravity events saw some winners, some losers & some victims(pictured below) as riders tackled the tough courses. By the end of the weekend we were all smiles. Thanks to everyone for making a great Memorial Day. The Oskar Blues/Lyons contingent earned some podium spots over the weekend, congrats Sam, Emma & the rest of the team. More updates to come as the week goes on.
