What I learned at MSC #3 at Crested Butte:
1. Alarm clock settings, breakfast, coffee & bathroom stops are key pre-game
2. Get fit before you go, all races here are very fitness intensive
3. Always, always take a practice run at the course if you get a chance
4. Run a Cross Country set-up for the Super-D
5. Run a Super-D set-up for the Downhill
6. Spandex clad riders can win gravity races
7. Emergency tire repair kit at the top of the hill is key
8. To race on back to back days a cool down ride on the first day is helpfull
9. Find shade & drink lots of fluids
10. Follow steps 1 through 9 with a Dales Pale Ale

Bonnaroo: the Broo’ers Village
Look for the gooey, resiny aroma and a luscious mouthfeel of a fine beer & find us at the Broo'ers Village at Bonnaroo. Stop on in for a brew & entertainment, don't forget to vote for us as your favorite brewery and favorite beer.
Indeed the Thursday soul jazz is lookin smokin at the Somethin' Else stage. Friday is kicked of by Oskar Blues pickers Uncle Earl. It looks like This Tent has a go of it for Saturday, Gogol Bordello, Ween & Gov't Mule...ahh too much of everything is just enough. A perfect scenerio for a Sunday closer at What stage . Too bad we can't catch it all, i think i need a beer...
Ride on...
The Lyons Outdoor Games found me along the St. Vrain river dreaming of front range singletrack. We hit the stone cup for coffee & snacks on the way. A front range classic ensued. Check out a few clips before survival mode took over.
BBC posted some pictures of the Ripstoke performance from the games, check them out HERE.

Hall Ranch Video 6-5-07
Here's the first video shoot we tried from Hall Ranch with a Helmet Cam. I know it's kind of long & unedited but that will come. Follow Dave Chase down Hall Ranch, yep he had some stage fright :). You can bet we made it to the open Bluegrass pick just in time. Enjoy!

Lyons Outdoor Games
On Saturday June 9 2007, Lyons Colorado will host the 5th annual Lyons Outdoor Games. In addition to big beer, Lyons is also home to quality kayaking, biking and climbing. This is a great chance to experience the sport of whitewater kayaking as well as mountain bike trials.
Bitterbrush Cycles is raffling off a medium Chumba XCL frame for the games. Each ticket is $5.00. You must attend the after party at Oskar Blues to win the frame. All proceeds go to help out the event.
Purchase raffle tickets at Bitterbrush Cycles or Oskar Blues. To purchase online go here.

Wild Turkey
Boulder Mountain Alliance returned to Heil Valley Ranch on National Trails Day to continue building the Wild Turkey Trail. We built some trail that looks pretty tasty. I'm looking forward to getting the connecter trail from Lyons to Heil. Thanks to BMA for providing lunch to go with the beer.
After the trail building session & a Dales Pale Ale we headed up the canyon to hit the dirt. It turned out to be water as well since the river was raging. Here's a glimpse of the fun:
ADDITIONAL UPDATE: Boulder Mountainbike Alliance (BMA) has a picture gallery of the day HERE. They also have given us the good news that their will be an addtional trail day October 6. We will be constructing the Lyons Connector Trail at Heil Valley Ranch!!!
Here is some info from those at BMA that make it happen:
