Heil Trail Work Rescheduled for Saturday!

Saturday, May 9, 8am - 2pm

After the incredible success we have had at Heil with the Wild Turkey and Picture Rock trails, BMA and BCPOS are looking at the rest of Heil Valley Ranch. We want to bring the old trail up to the standards of the new trail. Long, straight runs are no longer the way to go in trail building. Grade dips and contouring ensure a more sustainable trail system and a more enjoyable ride.

That said, the trails on the front side need a face lift. Years of multi-use has resulted in a gravelly, loose trail. And we know how to fix it. Come out and help us put the shine on the front side to make the WHOLE of Heil Valley Ranch as enjoyable as Picture Rock and Wild Turkey. This is more challenging than putting in new trail because we have to build a trail within a trail, bringing in the old trail and putting in the contours, grades and water diversion structures, thus reshaping the trail tread.
Saturday, May 9, 8am - 2pm, lunch provided! Min. age 14 w/ adult supervision.
