Castle Cross & Boulder Racing #3

Green Mountain Sports put together an amazing cross course & was blessed with a dusting of melting snow on a great day of cross racing. The course was great with some deep puddles & super slick turns.

OB Style Pit area.
The first cross race of the always hurts...yep, the pain cave. Great day on a cross bike. Jonathon Baker took the win over Summerhill but Bouplon gets the prize. The perfect cross weather didn't stop there as Boulder Racing threw race # 3 of their series under multiple storms. Travis Lukens tightens his cranks on his way to Victory in the SS race. Yep, you read that correctly. Larry Grossman on the Squirt rig get's his chase on, he suffered a flat front time & did more running than the rest of the field. Jeremy running one of the many long sand runs at Boulder Res. Rob Batey looks for the hole shot in the SM 3's race. A sweet Open Men's race was a battle from the gun. Matt leads early through a barrier section. Dunna hangs tight in the front group that contained: Summerhill, Pacocha, Baker, Dubba & Peter Weber Danny Summerhill getting it in the sand. He and Matt attacked eachother through this section leading into tight sandy corners on many of the laps. Summerhill out kicks Matt to the line...what a race.
